Stephanie was born and raised in Lake Dallas, TX (a small town north of Dallas,TX). She has always pursued a career in veterinary medicine ever since she was a little girl. Stephanie was raised with dogs and horses most of her life. She has had 4 horses of her own, and participated in rodeos (barrel racing, pole bending, and goat tieing) and playdays. She has always dreamed of being a mixed-animal vet working with dogs, cats, and horses. She began her dream career as a kennel/tech assistant at age 16 at Dr. Doolittle's Animal Hospital. At age 18, she reunited with her highschool sweetheart Casey at the Dallas Love Field Airport while on a flight to San Antonio to see her dad. She then moved to San Antonio, TX where he was stationed at Fort Sam Houston/BAMC and married him at age 20. Stephanie and Casey share their home with 2 dogs (Heidi and Levi) and one mischievous cat named Onyx. Stephanie has been a Veterinary Technician since 2006. In January 2010, Stephanie received her Associate's of Applied Science and Registered Veterinary Technician's license at Palo Alto College and Cedar Valley College. Stephanie is now working on obtaining her Bachelor of Science degree to begin applying to Texas A&M to attend Vet school. Stephanie says, "No matter how long it takes to get there, juggling home, work and married life she will obtain her dream job one way or another!"
